High ATB Release Coating for High Unwind Value Tapes and/or where low-ATS Adhesives are Used

All DEGREE brand products are quality tested for adhesion to backing performance against control and/or test adhesives. The rigorous quality testing assures users of consistent release performance for their tape/label products.

DEGREE 280A coating is for tight release performance - designed for tapes with high ATB and unwind values or where low aggression adhesives are required. Useful for masking tapes where the water resistance feature in the release coating helps prevent paper puckering. Also, DEGREE 280A coating accepts many pigment dispersions without thickening, floating or settling of the pigment colorant components, so bright, clear tape colors result without the haziness, fish-eyes or other coating defects commonly seen with pigmented coatings. Users can easily customize their tape product for quick 'on-shelf' identity.

DEGREE 280A coatings can be infinitely blended with other DEGREE #A brand products for tighter or looser coating needs. DEGREE 280A coating is non-contaminating to avoid machinery buildup and/or 'poisoning' of the tape adhesive.
