High Performance Release Coating for Paper or Film Tapes and/or Labels Requiring Lower Peel Values

DEGREE 100A coating is for moderate-loose release performance - designed for tapes with lower ATB and unwind values or where aggressive adhesives are required. Useful for masking tapes where the water resistance feature in the release coating helps prevent paper puckering. Also, DEGREE 100A coating accepts many pigment dispersions without thickening, floating or settling of the pigment colorant components, so bright, clear tape colors result without the haziness, fish-eyes or other coating defects commonly seen with pigmented coatings. Users can easily customize their tape product for quick 'on-shelf' identity.

The strong wetting and adhesion performance of DEGREE 100A Coatings provide a unique aqueous release coating for many film substrates. A smooth, well-anchored coating is developed on even corona-treated polyethylene substrate.

DEGREE 100A coatings can be infinitely blended with other DEGREE #A brand products for tighter coating needs. DEGREE 100A coating is non-contaminating to avoid machinery buildup and/or 'poisoning' of the tape adhesive. No glass 'ghosting' residues occur with DEGREE A products.
